Richland School of Judo

Richland School of Judo is a 501(3)c non-profit organization whose mission is to empower, educate, and charter-build individuals' minds and bodies through the teachings of Professor Jigoro Kano and the sport of Judo.

Judo is a Japanese sport that uses their opponent’s weight and strength against them. It provides a tremendous physical and mental workout while developing and improving your balance, coordination, and confidence by implementing throwing techniques and pins, as well as joint locks, submissions, and choking techniques for appropriate age/skill levels.

Judo, translated, means “The gentle way.” This is because it relies more on technique and feel than brute strength. This is why a smaller person can defeat a bigger, stronger opponent.

Kids/juniors are Mondays/Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 pm.

Adult/advanced classes are held Tuesday/Thursdays 6-7:30 pm.

**All prices are for Memberships with Autopay enrollment. Additional fees apply for non-Autopay and cash-only Memberships.**
